Geospatial Analytical Services (GeoSAS) is an Ethiopian private firm established in 2007 to meet the high demand for organized and sustainable African expertise to plan and implement Africa-led developmental programmes.
At the heart of GeoSAS’s strategy is a commitment to ensuring sustainability and ownership by relevant African stakeholders. It creates jobs for experienced Africans, including senior ex-civil servants, while building systematic knowledge transfer to young graduates.
GeoSAS has strategically positioned itself to mobilize high-level professionals with proven technical and managerial capabilities. Our senior staff are twinned with junior experts to facilitate internal knowledge transfer and capacity building, ensuring excellence in our service provision.

The company is managed by a Board of Directors and a General Manager. The company prides itself for strictly adhering to government and other legal and financial obligations.
Transparency & Accountability
A key challenge for small private companies in developing countries is their ability to maintain company financial reports essential when partnering with foreign companies. GeoSAS has made accountability and transparency the heart of its operations. In this regard, GeoSAS is audited annually and reports are available upon request.
